Easy and Clear make information easy for everyone.

With 25 years of experience, we adapt information for people with learning disabilities and anyone who experiences barriers to information.

We believe everyone has the right to access information in the way that suits them as individuals.

Our easy read services make information easy and clear for anyone with neurodivergence, cognitive impairments, older people and anyone who would benefit from information that is empathically designed for their needs.

We also provide advice and support on how to check easy read documents with a focus group of people with learning disabilities.

Easy Read

At Easy and Clear, we make complex information into easy read - for adults and young people with learning disabilities and autistic people. We also write and produce easy information for other people who may not have a learning disability but still need information in an inclusive format. We can produce child friendly documents for children, young people and parents/ carers. We advise all our clients to check easy read documents with a user testing/focus group.

Training & Workshops

We offer a flexible range of training days, seminars and workshops for organisations and businesses. These practical sessions are designed to instruct, inform and advise on how to write and present information clearly – including easy read. Our accessible, easy to follow courses provide the skills and confidence you need to design information for different audiences in a more inclusive and effective way – in print, online and in other digital formats.

Our clients

We work with a wide variety of clients - from NHS Trusts and local government organisations through to art galleries, museums and adult social care providers. We have designed and produced easy read and easy information for some of the UK's biggest charities including Barnado's, Bowel Cancer UK, Leonard Cheshire Disability, National Autistic Society and the NSPCC.
