What is easy read?

Easy read is a way of presenting information for adults and young people with learning disabilities.

Producing easy read involves two main things – making the words easier and using images to support the words.

Images can be photographs or line drawings but should never appear as cartoons.

All easy read documents should be checked by a user group of people with learning disabilities. If you do not have a group available, then please get in touch.
