Easy and Clear make information that is inclusive and accessible to everyone.

We have over 20 years of inclusive content design experience, converting information into easy read for people with learning disabilities and easy/easier to read for wider audiences, including people with cognitive impairments, learning difficulties and neurodivergence.

Kate Grant – Director and Editorial Consultant

Kate is an inclusive editorial consultant who has worked across the disability sector for over 20 years. As former publications and editorial manager at the Disability Rights Commission, Kate has extensive experience of writing, designing and producing accessible information  – in print, web and other online/digital formats.

She has advised the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education on their easy read and easier to read outputs and recently completed a successful Global Disability Summit project with the UK Department of International Development (DFID) and International Disability Alliance.

During 2021, Kate was lead consultant on a sexual health project working with women and families across West Africa to improve access to health advice and information.

Kate is an experienced copywriter, editor, proofreader, trainer and workshop facilitator.
