What is easy read?

Easy read is a way of presenting information for adults and young people with learning disabilities. Easy read makes the words easier and includes images to support the words.

Images can be photographs or line drawings but should never appear as cartoon-like.

All easy read documents should be checked by a user group of people with learning disabilities. If you do not have a group available, then please get in touch.
